Summary

Food safety education materials for middle and high school students.

Details

This curriculum is designed to teach food safety as extension science activities in middle and high school classes. The main concept is to use food to engage students’ interest in science while using science to teach students the importance of food safety. A combination of fun facts, hands-on activities, and an interactive video (featuring Dr. X the savvy food scientist), links the science of food safety to students’ everyday lives.
