English Muffin Pizza (+ kid-friendly sides)

A fun and healthy meal doesn’t have to take a lot of time! This quick and easy English muffin pizza is already enjoyable on its own, but spending a few extra minutes to cut peaches into fun shapes can make it even more exciting. Plus, as a bonus time-saver, you can cook the chicken or turkey breasts ahead of time and use them in different meals throughout the week!

The Power of Whole Grains

Whole grain foods are packed with fiber and flavor to provide long-lasting energy! They are rich in B-vitamins, magnesium, and zinc to support healthy immunity and growth. Be sure to choose English muffins, where 100% whole wheat is listed as the first ingredient to maximize those powerful nutritional benefits!

Don’t Forget Nutritious Sides!

You may be tempted to focus on the entrée and forget about sides, but they can contribute so much to having a balanced and nutritious meal! For example, the sides included with the English muffin pizza offer a serving of fruit  (peach) with healthy fiber and “fight-o-nutrients,” a serving of dairy (nonfat milk) for lots of calcium, and a serving of protein (turkey or chicken breast) to make this meal tasty and balanced. The Super Crew calls phytonutrients “fight-o-nutrients” because they help your body stay strong and ready for action. Dive into the Super Crew’s world and discover how they make healthy eating delicious, exciting, and full of adventure!

If your entrée isn’t balanced on its own, let your side dishes shine!
