Greek Yogurt is Great for Growing Bodies
Dairy products are a great source of calcium, which supports strong bones and teeth. Calcium is especially important for children since they’re still in the process of building strong and healthy bones! Greek yogurt also offers more protein than a normal yogurt, so your child will feel fuller for longer. Lastly, Greek yogurt is a cultured food, so it acts as a probiotic and can support healthy tummies! When possible, choose yogurt that’s not ultra-processed and has no additives. Then add your own sweeteners, like fruit or small amounts of honey. Learn more about how to reduce ultra-processed foods with the Non-UPF Program.
